Where can I develop film?

because I have a Olympus Quartz Date?
whatever that is
and I want to take some pictures without a Digi
and I use FujiFilm and Kodak [not really caring what the quality is, yeah?]
and I’m wondering if people know if they still sell any kind of film without ordering.
like at Target or something, ya know?
and if they develop anymore.
Please answer, I want to make a scrap book [and it's my grandparen'ts 5oth anniversary

Fuji and Kodak are both excellent films, as long as you get the right speed (100, 200, 400 speeds are all different and used for different types of shots). Most stores still carry cameras and film in their electronics departments. KMart, Walmart, Walgreens, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, and many others still carry them, and I know that KMart and Walmart here still give you two developing options: you can send them out and get them back in a few days, or you can opt for one-hour service (though sometimes the developers aren't professionally trained, so one-hour development isn't always as good as the send out method). I know that Walmart also offers you the option of getting a color print negative sheet (tiny thumbnail sized prints on a sheet the size of your photos...which makes it easier to find the photos you want to enlarge or reprint), and you can pay to have a CD Rom made of all your photos so that you can turn them into digital prints as well as regular prints.

Camera stores are sometimes harder to find these days since the introduction of digital, but they are still around if you know where to look. Try a google search for camera stores in your area, or look in your local yellow pages. The cost of developing at a camera shop is usually higher than places like Walmart or Target, but honestly, the quality is higher, and the photo paper used is usually higher quality than what they use in store/pharmacy developing places.
